Missing Banners (Compatibility List)

I dumbed the banners for 2 Games in 1: The Incredibles / Finding Nemo, 2 Games in 1: The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie / Battle for Bikini Bottom and 2 Games in 1: The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie / Tak 2: The Staff of Dreams (they look like exactly the same), because they are missing from the homepage. Could you do me a favor? Can I upload it to the wiki files, you add them to the website and after that delete them off the wiki files section? That would be a relief for me. - Kimishima (talk) 18:47, 20 July 2018 (CEST)

I've since forgotten the specific details, but I believe banner uploads to the main compatibility guide are handled via uploads that occur directly from the emulator (presuming you accepted the prompt about data uploads on it's initial install). Kolano (talk) 22:01, 20 July 2018 (CEST)
Okay, thanks! I accepted the prompt, so I shall wait and see. Do I need to have the game in my games list until then? Kimishima (talk) 22:52, 20 July 2018 (CEST)
I misremembered. For a while we had distributed a tool to allow uploading all the banners in your local cache, but it's apparently no longer supported. Go ahead and upload them here, and hopefully we can get them to the right hands to integrate them into the main site. Kolano (talk) 23:44, 20 July 2018 (CEST)
Okay, it's uploaded. Thank you very much for your help! Kimishima (talk) 09:31, 21 July 2018 (CEST)

Adding regional names, Redirects and Streamlining names with '''''X'''''

I have added some redirects, Japanese and European names to the wikis and Gamecube pages and changed ''X'', '''X''' (etc.) to '''''X'''''. I did that for Resident Evil, all gamecube games #, A and B. I saw on the Recent changes page that I probably cause a lot of trouble (number of edits). Should I revoke my changes (or most of them since some were corrections)? Should I go ahead and check C to Z? I'm feeling bad, because I have the feeling that I do things that I'm not allowed to. Kimishima (talk) 13:11, 24 July 2018 (CEST)

Though some discussion of any larger scale changes you plan to make is good. Don't generally be worried about the number of edits. Most everything you've done looks fine. The quoting standardization is good, and frequently gets overlooked since it's not that visible. We are also happy to see better completion of non-US titles. One related thing:

Okay, thank you! How do I purge/delete/rename entire pages? The redirect will be unnecessary and the page would be renamed to Biohazard [...]. Kimishima (talk) 15:26, 24 July 2018 (CEST)
Those options normally appear under the "More" tab in the header, though deletes (and perhaps others) may be restricted to admin users. Kolano (talk) 21:47, 24 July 2018 (CEST)
Alright. I ask you if there is something I think should be done (if I can't do it myself). Kimishima (talk) 22:46, 24 July 2018 (CEST) EDIT: [1] needs to be deleted. I can't do it.

Autoconfirmed Users

Are you aware that new users aren't able to edit the wiki at all right now? I was reading on the forums that the permission was set to take three days, then let new users edit, but according to multiple people on the forums it's not working properly. There's reports of existing, old accounts used to make edits before not working either. I know that User:MayImilae said she'd take a look at it, but I thought I should tell you as well in case you didn't know. - Xerxes (talk) 21:02, 6 September 2017 (CEST)

Yeah, an unfortunate outcome from a particularly annoying spammer; who would happily manually work around captcha to continue spamming us. It's been a while now, so hopefully we can scale back the restrictions soon. Kolano (talk) 05:06, 12 January 2018 (CET)
