RatingProblemFix

Template:RatingProblemFix was updated to add additional functionality, such as categories to keep track of missing info and additional parameters. You can see the template in action on RatingProblemFix/sandbox. I think you may like the edits because they provide a benefit for this Wiki, even though it may not look right just yet. I got the functionality working at least. Kolano made edits. I think he is interested in implementation but not yet. --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) 09:32, 8 November 2015 (CET)

Still unnecessary, will still provide unnecessary maintenance if implemented and it's even uglier now (slapping more text in the ugly tables). Remains a big NO! - Jhonn (talk)
The idea has shifted to increase the maintainability of pages as Kolano has pointed out your current troubles keeping pages up-to-date. Kolano hast taken interest in the concept it seems. The template itself can filter a game out into seven categories. The categories are there to help identify what pages are out-of-date, what is causing the page to be out-of-date, and how to fix it as well as provide a description what it means for a page to be in that category. I know that initially the template will increase maintenance but I reassure you this is temporary. Once all pages that have been flagged as Category:Pages with unknown problem ratings have had their template updated from {{RatingProblemFix}}, the pages will be easier to maintain. You have to see that categories are not just for navigational purposes but also for quickly identifying issues with pages. The template has a great script to quickly filter and identify problems with pages. If you are still unclear, I think Kolano understands what I am talking about. He is also trying to make the template more appealing on pages. --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) 21:17, 8 November 2015 (CET)
