Thanks for looking into the infobox clean up. It would be good if you can also help note/fill in missing GameIDs as you go, see my prior edit related to Cooking Mama: World Kitchen. Kolano (talk) 06:23, 27 November 2016 (CET)

:Yeah I can do that. Is there anything that has to be done manually for the ID to show up in the infobox, or is simply making the redirect enough and then it'll come up automatically? I'm not too familiar with the GameID system on the wiki. - Xerxes (talk) 06:42, 27 November 2016 (CET)

WCP2004/Toy Wars

Why did you remove world championship pool and Toy Wars from the GameCube list? Even if the pages aren't made they should be listed. Zephyrsurfer (talk) 01:46, 2 December 2014 (CET)

Toy Wars was the only homebrew game on the list and its article/listing was basically an advertisement with no content, and Kolano and I couldn't find proof that World Championship Pool 2004 was ever ported to GC, all but one of our sources of info on it listed it as cancelled. If you can find a copy of WCP2004 for GC I'll gladly rewrite the page myself, but Toy Wars I don't think should be listed again, since if we listed every homebrew game ever made we'd be doing a ton of extra work for no real benefit. - Xerxes (talk) 02:07, 2 December 2014 (CET)

Can't find the game. Fair enough :) Zephyrsurfer (talk) 00:32, 4 December 2014 (CET)

Biohazard Zero Trial Edition

I don't know if you know this already, but there are some copies of the game Biohazard Zero - Trial Edition on ebay if you do a search like these links:

http://preview.tinyurl.com/lhbhosg. http://preview.tinyurl.com/nevmfzb

You may know by now, but just in case you don't. Also I have a link to the image if you are interested if you can't afford it. --Yugix (talk) 23:53, 8 December 2014 (CET)

This is very interesting, thanks for showing me this. Demo discs just in general are hard to find or even confirm were made, so it's cool this one in particular can actually be found out there. I don't know about the legality of filesharing preview/demo disc images, on the one hand you could think of it as still containing copyrighted work because they're part of a fully featured game (just not the whole thing), but on the other hand they were never sold commercially, so I think it makes up a gray area. I know there's people out there that make Nintendo World Championships reproduction carts and they don't get into legal trouble, so maybe it's fine but I'm just not sure. But yeah, I can't afford to buy the game right now (my setup is pretty ghetto) so if it's legally alright you can shoot me the image somewhere and I'll do testing for it but otherwise I don't want to start condoning piracy on the wiki. - Xerxes (talk) 04:56, 10 December 2014 (CET)

Yeah, that is why I didn't link to it directly, since it very likely might go goes against the rules of the wiki which is why I only offered links to buy instead directly. It's only a demo, but you know how things are legally with this type of thing which is why I can't directly link to it here.--Yugix (talk) 06:39, 10 December 2014 (CET)

You could always test it yourself if you have a copy at your disposal. It's not like I own the page or anything, it just seemed like nobody else was going to bother finding these games since there were listings with 0 stars on there for forever. But if you wanted to do it that'd be fine too, the game just needs a compatibility rating. - Xerxes (talk) 04:09, 13 December 2014 (CET)

I know I could. Maybe one day once I get around to playing RE Zero but not right now. --Yugix (talk) 06:40, 14 December 2014 (CET)

Oh and don't worry. I will test out the game sooner or later. I'm just having a Dreamcast binge right now. Sometime in 2015 most likely. No dates set. --Yugix (talk) 04:18, 21 December 2014 (CET)

Yeah man, don't stress about it. Do it whenever you want. It's not like the wiki's going anywhere. - Xerxes (talk) 10:28, 21 December 2014 (CET)

I got around to testing it. Very short demo though I had a little trouble with that briefcase puzzle which was the only real main puzzle during the demo. Took me 30 minutes to test the whole thing. You can read my entry on the page. Game had with no notable problems worth mentioning except very slight slowdown outside, but overall, not worth playing since you can get the full version easily, and it's cheaper if anyone was wondering. Only collectors would care to even buy it in the first place, so you would had wasted your money if you did end up buying it just to test it. --Yugix (talk) 05:47, 3 April 2015 (CEST)

That's awesome man, thank you. I probably never would have gotten around to testing it myself. The GC compatibility list is practically finished now, if only the cho ketteiban powerful pro yakyu games weren't so rare then it'd be complete. Maybe some day I'll just get really lucky and stumble upon them at a used game store. - Xerxes (talk) 13:24, 3 April 2015 (CEST)

You'll need more than luck to stumble across something like that especially a series of Japanese games most had never heard of. I even have the banner for the Trail Edition game. I just wonder how do you add it to the official website's compatibility list? --Yugix (talk) 22:39, 3 April 2015 (CEST)

I have no idea, I'm just a random editor. Maybe someone else knows? I'd try asking on IRC, usually you get a response pretty quickly. - Xerxes (talk) 12:21, 4 April 2015 (CEST)

Infobox Clean Up

Thanks for looking into the infobox clean up. It would be good if you can also help note/fill in missing GameIDs as you go, see my prior edit related to Cooking Mama: World Kitchen. Kolano (talk) 06:23, 27 November 2016 (CET)
