XG3: Extreme G Racing, or XGIII, or more commonly known as Extreme-G 3, is a futuristic racing game for the Nintendo GameCube and PlayStation 2. It was developed by Acclaim Cheltenham and published by Acclaim Entertainment. It was released for the PlayStation 2 in North America on August 21, 2001, in Europe on August 31, 2001, and in Japan on September 12, 2002. It was released for the GameCube in North America on November 27, 2001, in Europe on May 3, 2002, and in Japan on March 15, 2002.
Problems

On revisions higher than r4314 special settings need to be used to avoid hanging on a black screen before the title screen appears. The PAL version can be started if Vsync and FPS Throttle are Off and Audio Throttle is used to control speed, but such doesn't work for the NTSC version.
