Your Shape featuring Jenny McCarthy is a revolutionary fitness product that is laser-focused on you, ensuring you get the most personalized, effective and fun workout possible. The Your Shape camera comes with the game and, using proprietary fitness tracking technology, scans you, giving you a full body shape analysis. The game combines that analysis with the results of your fitness test and your goals to create a personalized fitness program to help you meet your goals as efficiently and effectively as possible. Unlike any other fitness product, when you begin your workout, the camera projects your image onto the TV. Because the camera tracks your movements, your coach can give you real-time input on how you're doing and advice on how to do it better. And, you get all of these benefits without having to hold a controller as you workout, leaving your hands free to focus on the exercises. In fact, the game encourages you to incorporate your own exercise equipment (weights, balance ball, etc). Just tell it what you have at home, and your coach will add it to your personal workout. No other fitness product provides this level of personalization and interactivity while leaving your hands free.
Emulation Information
Requires Camera
Camera peripherals are not emulated at this time, this title requires a real Your Shape Camera peripheral.
Wii Balance Board
This title supports Wii Balance Board, though no emulation is provided for the Wii Balance Board. The real Wii Balance Board may be required to access some features.
- In Bluetooth Passthrough mode, a Balance Board can be synced just like any Wii Remote, without any special configuration. Refer to the article for details.
- Otherwise, set the Balance Board option in the Controller Configuration dialog from "None" to "Real Balance Board". Then press the red "Sync" button in the battery compartment of the balance board, and press "Refresh" if Continuous Scanning is disabled. There is no fast sync (Wii Remote 1+2) in the Balance Board, so the sync button must be used each time.
Problems
Extreme Slowdown Before Main Menu
While watching the initial intro video, Your Shape will have a tremendous amount of lag. By reducing video settings to the absolute minimum, you can reduce the impact of the slowdown. Midway through the video, the lag will suddenly disappear and the game will continue normally from that point forward.
Requires Camera Emulation
This title immediately errors "An error occurred on the USB Camera. Turn off the power to the Wii console.". USB Camera support is not implemented at this time. Refer issue 9199. Fixed in Linux on 5.0-2352. Fixed on all supported platforms on 5.0-10344
Configuration
