Problems

Character Shading in OpenGL

The GLSL merger (3.5-1025) broke character shading with the OpenGL backend. Use D3D9 or D3D11 until this problem is resolved. See issue 6104.

Black Album Pictures

Album photos will be black without EFB to RAM enabled.

Bugs in game

Chapter 4: After you put the code in the fuse box in the basement do not follow the ghost because after the battle the game will crash with this error: "BackPatch - no support for operand size 1" "Error encountered accessing emulated address 21251086...Culprit instruction: movzx eax, byte ptr ds:[rbx+rcx] at 0000000014e1e17f READ: Invalid address: 292518e5" To avoid it follow this instructions:

  • Put the code to turn on the elevator ¡DO NOT FOLLOW THE GHOST TO THE NEXT ROOM!
  • Go upstairs to the elevator and approach to it, see the short cutscene
  • Now go down to fight the ghost, the game will not crash this time.

r7676 Windows 7 x64 Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 @ 2.96GHz nVidia GeForce 430 GT Perfectly Playable at full speed at 30 FPS (At 720p, 4x ssa and 16x anisotropic filtering enabled). Battles with more than 3-5 ghosts slows down at 26-28 FPS. Slow down at final boss when being chased at 20-25 FPS. Crashes still exist as mentioned by busayaphol, but can be easily bypassed SpardaDVLking3 (YouTube account)
^r7671 Windows 7 x64 Intel Core i7 @ 2.98GHz nVidia GeForce 570 GT Perfectly playable with 3x internal resolution 8 AA (level 32) and 16x anisotropic filtering enabled at 30 FPS at 1080p resolution. This is tested with Directx11 video back end, with the only issue being slight color distortions on the walls when at a distance and the character faces being distorted at a distance. utsuni
