All copies of Nintendo Puzzle Collection were bundled with a GCN-GBA cable to take advantage of the game's ability to download simplified versions of its games to a Game Boy Advance console.
Problems
Lock ups with DirectX
In D3D9 and D3D11, some computers will experience severe lock ups in transition areas and loading screens. The lock ups generally last for 3-5 seconds and display 0fps, then the game will resume. It may be limited to only nVidia cards, but the exact pattern is uncertain. If you encounter the error, use the OpenGL graphics backend. See issue 6275.
Audio
Audio doesn't decode properly with DSP HLE. Fixed by the merger of new-ax-hle 1.0 in 3.5-78.
Configuration
This title does not need non-default settings to run properly.

Test Entries | |||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Revision | OS | CPU | GPU | Result | Tester |
3.0 | Windows 7 x64 | Intel Core i5-2390T @ 2.7GHz | AMD Radeon HD 6450 | Very good! 60 FPS most of the time except some massive screen, audio does not decode properly and experienced glitched. I even upscaled to 720p and enable 4x anti-aliasing so if you turn off those features you should be to play smoothly. | Nosmas |
