Seems this title only has issues with the DirectX backend. Since OpenGL is default, should this, in theory, be marked perfect? Seems like another conflict between tracking issues and requiring none for perfect status. [[User:Kolano|Kolano]] ([[User talk:Kolano|talk]]) 00:20, 6 July 2017 (CEST)
:I don't think we should have the rating system to be based solely on settings being on default. For example, if Dolphin has implemented a first time setup that will prompt the user on some settings. What's good setting choice that first appear in our mind that should be included there? Of course, the backend. It'd then not treat any of those settings as "default". But since Dolphin doesn't have its first time setup, it doesn't have other choice but to ship with "default" settings that may be considered biased. I like the idea of having the Dolphin enchancements, such as non-native IR, AA, etc to impact the compatibility rating, because, I do think they'd be good setting choices in the first time Dolphin setup. :Personally I think it's a good thing to weight the rating towards OGL performance. Non-Windows users don't even have the option of using D3D, so theoretically 2/3 of users have a perfect experience with any settings.
