Pool Paradise, penniless on an idyllic South Pacific desert island, you discover a variety of pool tables scattered around the beach and in various huts. On the beach, sheltered under the palm trees, is a practice table where you can enhance your skills and watch the waves rolling in. When you feel you are good enough, you can enter the Competition Hut and start climbing the championship ladder. There are 11 sets of pool rules and 30 different computer opponents for you to challenge. It's not all over if you lose everything; there's a loan shark to lend you more cash--or bite your head off.

Emulation Information
Demo River Gap
In the opening demo loop there is a gap in the river directly before a photo of the developers is shown. The river is also rendered jet black even in daylight. Though it feels like something should be rendered there, even on a real GameCube the gap and black water exist.
Problems
Unknown Opcode
An Unknown Opcode error sometimes occurs when accessing the Memory Card on startup, and possibly at other random times while playing. Pressing "OK" on the pop-up will allow the game to continue seemingly without issue. The message can be avoided by disabling Panic Handlers.
Configuration
Only configuration options for the best compatibility where they deviate from defaults are listed.
General
Config | Setting | Notes |
---|---|---|
Use Panic Handlers | Off | Avoids annoying error pop-up |
Version Compatibility
The graph below charts the compatibility with Pool Paradise since Dolphin's 2.0 release, listing revisions only where a compatibility change occurred.

This title has been tested on the environments listed below:
