Donkey Kong Country Returns
Donkey Kong Country Returns with the classic side-scrolling play that made the original so popular, now rendered with new levels and vibrant 3D environments. When Donkey Kong's banana stash is stolen, he goes on a quest to get them back. This time, Diddy Kong joins the adventure, opening up the franchise's first opportunity for simultaneous co-op play. Diddy can hop on and off Donkey Kong's back any time, giving rookies a chance to ride along when the going gets too tough.

Problems
Invisible/Flickering Diddy and Donkey Kong
Since 4.0-8010, Diddy and Donkey Kong will flicker or become invisible throughout gameplay, see issue 9120. Disable Store EFB Copies to Texture Only to fix, but it has the side effect of turning Diddy/Donkey Kong pixelated randomly. This workaround is only on OpenGL backend. On Direct3D backend, this issue can be fixed by disabling Scaled EFB Copy(which will still make Diddy/Donkey Kong low-res) or by playing the game in native resolution.
4.0-9142 introduced a partial fix. Diddy and Donkey Kong will no longer flicker or become invisible when using the OpenGL backend. In this case, using Store EFB Copies to Texture Only is no longer necessary. The problem still occurs on the Direct3D backend.
Trouble Connecting 2nd Wiimote
The game fails to detect the second Wiimote most of the time if you boot the game with both Wiimotes already connected to Dolphin. To avoid that, boot the game with only one Wiimote and connect the second Wiimote only when asked (eg. in "Connect Player 2's Wii Remote" pop up when you select "2 Players" from the main menu).
Template:SSuper Guide May DieTemplate:/s
The Super Guide may fail or die because the game and Super Guide recordings fall out of sync. Fixed in 4.0-2729.
