:I have tried having the rating next to the problem heading but MediaWiki has hard-coded that to require a new line for the heading formatting to take effect. I'm not very good at getting something to look good BUT I can get the rough idea and all the features to function at least. --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) 04:14, 8 November 2015 (CET)

:I read your comments. You have given me a few ideas to further improve it. I'm trying to remove wall of text to make articles easier to understand and comprehend. I did include a brief description Template:RatingProblemFix. --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) 20:08, 7 November 2015 (CET)

I do not think they should be rated whatsoever! A problem is a problem. Even the simple thing we do of putting the most severe problem on the top is subjective, and essentially irrelevant. But at least it doesn't try to claim anything. Putting a big fat label onto problems IS claiming something! I can just imagine two people arguing over the problem rating ...There would be no solution to such an argument, since the values are totally made up. There's also the problem of maintaining this. We have a hard time as it is maintaining the problems themselves, this is just yet another thing to maintain and deal with when working on issues. So I am against problem ratings.  - MaJoR (talk) 13:23, 8 November 2015 (CET)

:::The rating isn't a rating in the 5-star sense we have for compatibility. Initially it started out like that but as Kolano starting talking about how hard it is to maintain this Wiki, I kind of discovered the root of the problem why it was so hard to maintain: There was no system to keep track of this stuff for Wiki users! Then the plan shifted to include 4000 and 4.0-2729 and categorize if such data was missing. If you check out RatingProblemFix/sandbox and click the icon associated with the banner (the "rating"), it will take you to a description what it means more specifically. The categories that the template introduces will help you identify problems with game pages much more easily. If and when this system gets implemented, there will be a lot of editing to do with the currently out-of-hand system. The idea is that once all pages have been updated to reduce counts found in :Category:Pages with unknown problem ratings, :Category:Pages with missing bug reports, and :Category:Pages with problems that are not fixed yet, you can start having an easier time maintaining the Wiki. Trust me, this will be a godsend to your current maintenance woes and nightmares, at least with the problems section with currently wiki-documented problems. --Wildgoosespeeder (talk) 20:18, 8 November 2015 (CET)
