Why did you delete this category? Flacs (talk) 21:50, 7 June 2020 (CEST)
I see that you think that Triforce games should be rated 1 star because they are broken on master. While that is technically true, the same can be said about any other game not for Wii/GC. But just like any other console which is not Wii/GC, the master branch of Dolphin doesn't emulate the Triforce and because the wiki is inline with master I think they shouldn't be rated at all.Miksel12 (talk) 13:51, 30 Dec 2020 (CEST)

Because it was empty and I was unaware of any product published by Google. Though looking at the Channel we fail to capture a dev / publisher there, where it may be appropriate. Even so, that may only populate the Google (Developer) category. It's weird cause we so inconsistently capture the dev / publisher info for channels, I believe likely due to it being difficult to determine for most of them, since info on the channels isn't tracked similarly to games on external sites. : This has already been discussed in the past, and is partially why the ratings for all those pages are locked. We understand it's been a long time since any progress has been made on Triforce emulation. The Triforce pages should probably be purged from the wiki, but folks have wanted to preserve them since Dolphin provides the only current path to emulate these titles, even if no longer supported on master. == Dualcore reporting ==
::I don't think the pages should be purged, like you said, Dolphin is the only way to emulate them. But by rating them against master, one would assume Triforce is emulated on master and it gives a wrong impression of which games are actually 'broken' (which are 5 games) and which games are from a machine not emulated (which are 15 games). So I would give the Triforce games 0 stars and keep the pages with a link to the Triforce branch.Miksel12 (talk) 14:15, 31 Dec 2020 (CEST)

Small question, as of current whenever i find a dualcore issue i write it here and create a bug tracker issue for them. Considering that they are just duplicate issues of the whole dualcore problem, should i just mention them in my edits on the wiki, and not create issues on the bug tracker for them, or do both.

Can you restore it? Why was it deleted? Lucario (talk) 08:19, 28 January 2022 (CET)
* <s>Sonic Adventure DX: Director's Cut (Beta)</s>
* Smashing Drive (Nov 5, 2001)
* Rayman Arena (March 12, 2002)
* ATV Quad Power Racing 2 (Oct 11, 2002)
I don't know if these redirs are used anymore, they were listed in the RELSAB, their parentheses have been moved out to allow DPL linksto to check these for their gameid. Lucario (talk) 08:24, 28 January 2022 (CET)

: I've restored it, though I think we had purged it as it was overly complicated and wasn't getting used in the same way after various GameID clean-up and completion of other page collections. It definitely needs better documentation. Kolano (talk) 09:43, 29 January 2022 (CET)

: Also I think we had prefered for the RELSAB ID to not show up on most of the those titles, as it's only used for those pre-release versions and isn't a unique identifier. Kolano (talk) 09:48, 29 January 2022 (CET)

:: Thank you, the documentation was also deleted so the template page appears to be lacking without it, maybe if you restore that also (edit: Thank you mbc07) Maybe you're right, it might not be needed anymore. It was a simple tool easy to flag what needs to be deleted but seems lately more things require discussion. I don't know, it might be useful again someday.

:: RELSAB on those game pages aren't wrong when it was indeed used during their beta stages. I understand it is likely a generic id used across several places so it can sound unappealing.

:: It's not used on Sonic Adventure DX: Director's Cut because we've got the beta page for it so we have few options:
* Just unlink those other games from RELSAB
* Have own beta pages for pre-releases of those other games
* Merge beta information back to the released version
:: Or have those redirects again to stop shared gameid DPL from looking for those games again but do we want to have dates in the parentheses as the titles of the pre-released versions? Sounds like it'll create a fragmentation problem when we run across multiple betas of same game.Lucario (talk) 11:35, 29 January 2022 (CET)

Wishing you great times onwards
Before I take a very long break from this wiki due to not feeling welcome at all, I just wanted to say that you were the nicer one among the long-timers on this wiki. I wish you the best times ahead. DandelionSprout (talk) 10:26, 19 March 2024 (CET)
