Since you did not open a discussion on this, I will. Metroid Prime 3 and Metroid Prime Trilogy (all games) have three stars because of significant bugs which cannot be fixed or worked around in any way! Bad bloom, the lower left quadrant problem, and of course the stuttering, which has constant stuttering that ranges from 200 milliseconds to ** 3 seconds **. That's a pretty significant bug! And there's no way for a user to fix it other than building up a giant (several gigabytes worth) shader cache.
