Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows . Part 1 is the first part of a two-part action-adventure video game developed by EA Bright Light and published by Electronic Arts. It was released on 16 November 2010 in the United States, 18 November in Australia and on 19 November 2010 in Europe and India to coincide with the film's release date. Part 2 was released to coincide with the second film. The game was released on the Microsoft Windows, Nintendo DS, Wii, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Mobile platforms.
The game is based on the book and the two films of the same title. It follows protagonists Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger who set out to destroy the seven Horcruxes, which will help them to defeat Lord Voldemort, the game's antagonist.
