Problems
Requires Accurate icache Emulation
The fade-out screens require accurate icache emulation which is extremely demanding and is only emulated in Interpreter mode. Refer issue 8037.

Testing
This title has been tested on the environments listed below:
Test Entries | |||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Revision | OS | CPU | GPU | Result | Tester |
4.0-8400 | Windows 7 | Intel Core i5-3570K @ 3.8 GHz | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 | Works in interpreter, crashes in JIT | JMC47 |
5.0-21088 | Windows 11 | AMD Ryzen 5 3600 @ 3.6 GHz | NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 | I was able to reach gameplay (A Time Trial) through an extremely convoluted process involving using Interpreter64 DC to get past the fade-outs at circa 0.6fps, setting a save state after fade-in, closing the game, switching to JIT64, open the game and the savestate, handle menus and selections, repeat until reaching gameplay, taking up to 20min with this method. Even then, time trial hovers 20~22fps in the NA version (resulting in around 30% gameplay slowdown), and 25 on the pause screen. | DandelionSprout |
