When entering new areas, the game will momentarily slow and stutter until all the textures are cached. Outside cutscenes, once the area is fully loaded, the game runs perfectly. There is also some stuttering in the title menu when the steam effects happen during transitions, but none afterward. Some cutscenes run perfectly, but others with a lot going on run at an average of 45 fps (25fps to 50 fps). Checking "GPU Texture Decoding" under hacks entirely prevented stuttering when picking up inventory items not previously encountered. Changing to 1x internal resolution (IR) does not resolve any slowdown, but the cutscene slowdown isn't that bad. | SpectraNocturne |
