Problems
IOS WAD Install
SSX Blur requires an IOS update WAD to be installed.
- Right click SSX Blur in your game list and go to 'Properties'
- Switch to the 'Filesystem' tab
- Browse to Disc->Partition 0->_sys
- Right click 'IOS17-64-v512.wad' and choose 'Extract File...'
- Save the file in your ROM folder, and close the SSX Blur properties window
- Once the ROM browser refreshes, find 'IOS17-64-v512' in your ROM list
- Right click, and choose 'Install to Wii Menu'
You may still get errors about a missing WAD when running the game. Clicking okay to bypass them will allow the game to load.
Intro Videos
Intro videos display only garbage and/or a blank screen, but does not crash Dolphin. These can be skipped through after the initial EA Sports BIG intro.
Loading Screens
Loading screens can suffer from some graphics corruption in the lower half when scaling above native is used.
Configuration
Only configuration options for the best compatibility where they deviate from defaults are listed.
Graphics
Config | Setting | Notes |
---|---|---|
Skip EFB Access from CPU | Off | Enabled bloom effects and prevents the screen from being washed out at the cost of significant performance |
Audio
Config | Setting | Notes |
---|---|---|
DSP Emulator Engine | LLE | Allows all sounds to play. HLE is missing most sounds |
