Nintendo console titles are identified by a 6 character identifier known as a GameID.

Syntax

GameIDs have 4 significant sub-sections:

  1. System Code (character 1): Identifies the console the title is for (i.e. GameCube, Wii, Virtual Console systems). Further details available at WiiBrew.
  2. Title Code (characters 2-3): Identifies the title.
