Configuration
Only configuration options for the best compatibility where they deviate from defaults are listed.
Graphics
Config | Setting | Notes |
---|---|---|
Video Backend | Direct3D9 | Use this backend for better speeds. |
Audio
Config | Setting | Notes |
---|---|---|
DSP Emulator Engine | HLE | DSP LLE should be used for musical games like this were sound and music is important but it lags quite a lot even on high-end PCs, mostly on stages where there is huge crowds and a lot of things going on. Even though the sound crackles and things get out of sync for just a little bit, HLE is still recommended for this game.
However there might be a way to play it smoothly with DSP LLE and that is if all songs are completed and all stages unlocked. Then you might be able to chose a certain studio room with no crowd and nice effects to bog things down. I tried this on quickplay and got lucky to end up just in that special studio room and things went smooth. |
