The game takes advantage of Wii's motion-sensitive controller, along with the Nunchuk attachment, to control a katana and a firearm. The on-screen gun hand points the gun in the same direction as the Wii Remote is pointing. Players can push objects to use them as cover by pushing the controller forward. Shaking the Nunchuk attachment or pressing "right" on the D-Pad reloads the gun. The player can also throw grenades underhand or overhand, by moving the Nunchuk as though it were the actual grenade.
Problems
Severe Audio Issues
The game will softlock any time dialogue with characters begins; as this is the first thing that happens in the tutorial, it's not possible to get in game unless a save state from a real Wii is used that will place you beyond the tutorial. Even if the player manages to avoid the first softlock, ambient sounds, voices, etc. are missing, and talking to someone will make the game softlock once again.
This was caused by a DSP issue that affected both DSP HLE and LLE. It has been fixed by 5.0-5395.
