If Dual Core mode is on, the emulator will trigger panic handlers and inevitably crash. {{revision|4.0-7626}} is the most up to date version without this error. Seems that the EFB texture processing in versions after causes the duel crashing errors. Refer {{issue|7873}}, {{issue|9028}}, {{issue|8540}}.
When Dualcore is enabled, the stage of the host machine (such as lag,) can leak into the emulated machine's state.  In some games, this may cause no side effects but in others it can cause framerate issues and even crashes. In Sonic Adventure 2: Battle: it is possible for instability certain stages that if the host computer lags while in dualcore. It is recommended that if you can run the game full-speed without dualcore, that you do so as that will greatly increase the stability of your experience. See {{issue|7143}}
