The Beatles: Rock Band is a music video game developed by Harmonix Music Systems, published by MTV Games and distributed by Electronic Arts. It is the third major console release in the Rock Band music video game series and, like other games in the series, it allows players to simulate the playing of rock music by using controllers shaped like musical instruments. The game's soundtrack consists of 45 songs by popular British rock group The Beatles and features virtual depictions of the band members performing the songs. Additional songs and albums by The Beatles were made available for the game as downloadable content.

Test Entries | |||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Revision | OS | CPU | GPU | Result | Tester |
3.0-775 | Windows 7 | AMD Phenom 2 X3 @ 3.6 GHz | NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT | Working. No problems so far to make the game unplayable. Some stuttering but no errors. | God |
4.0.2 | Windows 8.1 | Intel Core i7-4770 @ 3.4 GHz | AMD Radeon HD 7950 | Playable. When using a real or emulated guitar controller the emulator crashes upon exiting the game. Minor up-scaling issues
present. Audio delay makes comfortable play impossible on . |

4.0-7876 | Debian 4.1 | Intel Core i3-4150 @ 3.5 GHz | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 | Playable. The notes show up properly, however the background is solid black. Effects such as turning the screen pink do show up, however. | Goofybud16 |
4.0-9063 | Windows 10 | Intel Core i5-4670k @ 4.4 GHz | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 | Playable. Completely playable, occasionally a song starts stuttering but if the song is restarted it'll play correctly. D3D12, 1080p, 3x native, Guitar hero controller | IronPirate |
5.0 | Windows 10 | Intel Core i5-7400 @ 3.0 GHz | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 | Playable. There's some occasional stuttering (mostly, if not exclusively, in Shea Stadium and Budokan venues), but nothing that ruins the experience. Its completely possible to play the entire game without major problems. D3D11, 1080p, 3x native | ThiagoReis |
5.0-2577 | Windows 10 | Intel Core i5-6600k @ 3.5 GHz | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 | Playable. Peformance in large venues like the Shea stadium has been improved significantly, backgrounds work now in some of the songs they were missing, running it with OpenGL, 1080p, with vsync turned on the game slows down a bit in some songs, but not in many after latest Dolphin update, with vsync turned off the slowdowns get replaced with minor stutters. As I said before game has had significant performance improvements since last Dolphin update, current version that I used. | Wolfinston85 |
5.0-2872 | Windows 10 | Intel Core i5-6600k @ 3.5 GHz | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 | Perfect. Peformance is perfect for almost every song with minor slowdowns, or stutters now being limited to only seconds of some songs rather than in all, graphical glitches, and overall image quality has been improved to the point of perfection, the game looks and runs amazingly well, prior issues such as the problems with some textures not loading properly, or some lighting problems are now fixed. OpenGL, 1080p, with vsync turned on, widescreen hack enabled working now perfectly well, FXAA enabled in post-processing effects, anisotropic filtering set to 16 now also doesn't "garble" photos, but it does still garble videos, altho not to the severity from prior versions of Dolphin, Per-Pixel Lighting also enabled. DLC working properly as well. | Wolfinston85 |
