Originally released as a bonus disk for those who pre-ordered The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time / Master Quest contains GCN versions of Ocarina of Time and the never-released 64DD Ura Zelda (a remixed version of Ocarina of Time with harder dungeons ... Only true heroes will make it through this quest alive!).
Fans of Nintendo's acclaimed series can play both of these games on their GameCubes, and enjoy a few technical improvements over the N64 versions, namely a higher 640x480 resolution, Dolby Pro-Logic surround sound support, and 480p Progressive Scan support. Veterans and newcomers alike will find something to enjoy with this excellent port of the classic N64 game.
Problems
Crashing
The following versions crash, regardless of Dolphin revision...
- Japan D43J01: Crash /w "ERROR: Trying to compile at 0. LR=00000000"
It's been reported that some versions work perfectly, with minor sound bugs in versions newer than r5222. However this is questionable given that errors seem related to a well known, unaddressed issue running titles that use multiple executables. Functioning images may have been edited from originals in some way.
Sound
Sound's latency is high.
Configuration
This title does not need non-default settings to run properly.
