Blaster Master: Overdrive is a platforming and run and gun video game released by Sunsoft and Gaijinworks as a WiiWare title for the Wii game console. It is an update of the formula and soundtrack of the original Blaster Master game, also produced by Sunsoft, in 1988.
Problems
Save State Support
Using Dolphin save states causes controls to become stuck shortly after load, making progress impossible.
Hung Music Notes
Notes of the music sometimes hang, playing continuously until the game is reset.
Visible Sprite Edges
Sprites are slightly mis-sized, causing visible gaps at their edges in the side-scrolling view. This can be corrected by using "Real XFB", but such will lower image quality.
Configuration
No configuration changes are known to affect compatibility for this title.
Version Compatibility
The graph below charts the compatibility with Blaster Master: Overdrive since Dolphin's 2.0 release, listing revisions only where a compatibility change occurred.
