Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II, a combination of the Dreamcast releases Phantasy Star Online and Phantasy Star Online ver2, was released for the Nintendo GameCube and Xbox in 2002. An online RPG, its focus is online gameplay with a strong offline storyline, offering diverse online and offline gameplay. Offline mode is available for single player and multiplayer. Multiplayer split-screen mode can be played with up to four players. Official servers have since been taken offline.
Problems
Calender
Syncing the calender causes the game to crash. Despite what the game indicates when first run, one can play the game normally without the calender; so when prompted to sync it at the beginning of the game, simply select "no" to proceed.
BBA Unsupported
Broadband Adapter emulation is supported as of 3.0-732 with the merger of the BBA branch.
