Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance features a distinctive blend of action and adventure set in the most popular Dungeons & Dragons campaign setting: The Forgotten Realms franchise owned by Wizards of the Coast Inc. Played from a third person perspective, Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance immerses players in the port town of Baldur's Gate. Faithful adaptation of the third edition rules set for the Dungeons & Dragons roleplaying game and customizable player and character development allow for an engrossing gameplay experience for up to two players at once. Dramatic spell effects and powerful abilities enhance this action-packed game, assisting the player in combat against an abundance of terrifying monsters found throughout the adventure.

Revision | OS | CPU | GPU | Result | Tester |
r4771 | Windows | Intel Core 2 Duo E7200 @ 2.6GHz | nVidia 8800 GT | I haven't finished the game (still playing chapter 1), so I don't know whether is going to crash or not. It crashed only once so far. Frame-rate goes from 15 (very rarely) to 30. Most of the time,frame-rate was about 20-25 FPS. I'm also playing on IL version for some more speed-up. r7608 | Windows 7 x64 | AMD Phenom II 720 BE @ 3.4GHz | ATI Radeon HD 4850 | Faster on dx9 with "no lightning" (~25fps), on dx10 ~15fps (no matter if lightning on or off) | ultramann |
3.0 | Windows 7 x64 | Intel Core i5 @ 2.67GHz | ATI Radeon HD 5850 | %100 Speed 60 VPS but FPS low (in dialogs it's 10 FPS | |
3.0-427 | Windows 7 x64 | Intel Core i7 @ 3.5GHz | nVidia GeForce GTX 560 Ti | Barely noticeable lag during crowded fights, occasional sound stuttering, but 100% playable. | jashin |
4.0-5323 | Windows 7 x64 | Intel Core i7-950 @ 3.06GHz | nVidia GeForce GTX 570 | Perfect, 100% speed. Bink videos play. DSP LLE (with BIOS dumped from my Wii) caused slowdowns when playing damage noises, using HLE with no ill effect. Intermittent FIFO overflows, cause unknown, turned off panic handlers in the meantime. (Update: with my i7-4770k rig DSP LLE can be used at full speed) | ThatBum |
