Disney's Tarzan Untamed (known as Disney's Tarzan FreeRide in Europe) is a 2001 action-adventure video game. Picking up quite a while after the defeat of Clayton, Jane and Professor Porter now speak Gorilla-language fluently and Jane is married to Tarzan. However, their lives are threatened once again by a brutal band of British explorers led by the unscrupulous Oswald Gardner, who becomes fascinated with Tarzan and strives to capture the ape-man and take him back to England as a media attraction.
Problems
Sound Effects
Sound effects play too slowly and distort with DSP HLE. Use DSP LLE for proper audio.
Configuration
Only configuration options for the best compatibility where they deviate from defaults are listed.
Audio
Config | Setting | Notes |
---|---|---|
DSP Emulator Engine | LLE | Sound effects do not play correctly with HLE |
Version Compatibility
The graph below charts the compatibility with Disney's Tarzan Untamed since Dolphin's 2.0 release, listing revisions only where a compatibility change occurred.
Testing
This title has been tested on the environments listed below:
Test Entries | |||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Revision | OS | CPU | GPU | Result | Tester |
4.0-4589 | Ubuntu 14.04 | Intel Core i3-3220 @ 3.3GHz | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 | Needs LLE to play sounds correctly, otherwise sound effects play too slowly and crackle. However, using LLE slows the game down to 80%-90% speed anyways, making the game sound basically the same. Cutscenes, menus, and gameplay otherwise seem fine and I can keep a relatively stable 100% speed using default settings. | Xerxes |
