'''''Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance''''' is a tactical role-playing video game developed by Intelligent System and published by Nintendo for the [[Nintendo GameCube]] video game console. The game was released on April 20, 2005 in Japan, October 17, 2005 in North America, November 4, 2005 in Europe and December 1, 2005 in Australia. It is the ninth ''Fire Emblem'' series title, and the third ''Fire Emblem'' series title to be released in North America and Europe. It was the first ''Fire Emblem'' series title to feature voice acting as well as being the first title to be rendered in a three-dimensional, cel-shaded manner. It is also the first ''Fire Emblem'' game to be released for a home console in North America, Australia and Europe.
'''''Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance''''' (aka '''''Fire Emblem: Sōen no Kiseki''''' in Japan) brings back to consoles the strategic combat series ''Fire Emblem'' from the Game Boy Advance. In this installment, you can control units such as knights, mages, and winged creatures, and use their unique fighting styles to win battles and gain experience. ''Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance'' also includes a detailed story that connects the battles and characters together.

===Freezing/Issues Beyond Level 25 When Outfiting Anyone but Ike===
{{Problems|{{#vardefineecho:problems|
Per [http://code.google.com/p/dolphin-emu/issues/detail?id=2718 Issue 2718], revisions r4730-r5474(and beyond) hang beyond level 25 when outfitting anyone but Ike. Various other game issues also occur:
*Support conversations/Bonus EXP screens do not work. Support conversations show up blank without text or character portraits; only a background. Bonus EXP can be given, but if a character levels the screen showing the level gains does not appear and the game freezes.
*Most info conversations are also broken; the only apparent exception is when Aimee given Soren the Hammerne staff.

===Freezing at Level 13===
Per [http://code.google.com/p/dolphin-emu/issues/detail?id=2657 Issue 2657] Dolphin hangs at Level 13 when activating menu to fight or view details.

===Minor Image Alignment Issues with Direct X===
}}}}
Per [http://code.google.com/p/dolphin-emu/issues/detail?id=2614 Issue 2614] some images have minor misalignments when using the DirectX plug-in.

== Enhancements ==
=== Texture Filtering ===
Setting Texture Filtering to Force Linear can cause odd lines in the faces of characters; it should not be used for this game. Setting it to Anisotropic will cause the same issue in D3D.

=== Anti-Aliasing ===
Somewhat similar to Texture Filtering, anti-aliasing (8x MSAA and 8x SSAA, but not FXAA) can cause faint, grey lines to appear on the faces of characters.

=== Widescreen===

{{testing/entry|revision=4.0-9173|OS=Windows 10|CPU=Intel Core i5-4210M @ 2.6 GHz|GPU=NVIDIA GeForce 820M|result=It ran almost perfect on my laptop. It might suffer small and unnoticeable slowdowns in battle, but fullspeed in everything else. The 16:9 Widescreen code works wonderfully, the only defect is that it makes some menus show a little line in the middle. It's better to avoid non-integer resolutions (it would make the portraits more pixelated) and Force Pixel Filter (it shows lines in portraits, use shaders instead).
