Playable games include [[Luigi's Mansion]] (20-minute demo), [[Wave Race: Blue Storm]] (15-minute demo) and [[Star Wars Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader]] (15-minute demo). Video previews include [[Luigi's Mansion]], [[Wave Race: Blue Storm]], [[Star Wars Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader]], [[Super Smash Bros. Melee]], [[Pikmin (GC)|Pikmin]] and [[NBA Courtside 2002]]. The game and video order and the NBA Courtside 2002 video of the European demo disc is different US counterpart. The European NBA Courtside 2002 shows the final version of the game due to the European disc releasing later. The rest contents are the same though.

The movies for Luigi's Mansion and Wave Race may freeze and stutter, though pressing any button will return back to the main menu. Freezes, when they occur, seem to occur consistently, but at different times depending on config/hardware. This is only an issue with the US version of the game.

The lower third of the menu screen will flicker with some random image. It switches between one working frame and one broken.

The demo and movie for Rogue Leader will result in continuous "Invalid read" errors and requires MMU and XFB enabled to boot and play properly. Post Hybrid XFB in {{revision|5.0-5874}} only MMU must be set, which it is by default.

The scrolling GameCube logo in the demo disc intro is invisible if XFB is set to Virtual. It requires XFB to be disabled or set to Real to show up properly. Fixed with Hybrid XFB in {{revision|5.0-5874}}.
