Pikmin 2 is the sequel to Pikmin, also for the Nintendo GameCube, and is considered an improvement over the previous title, receiving universal acclaim from reviewers. In 2009, both Pikmin games were re-released for the Wii as part of the New Play Control! series.
Problems
Streaming audio (such as the title screen, file select, and several cinematic sequences) often do not play, or stop playing after a few seconds due to issues with the Audio plugin. This does not affect gameplay.
