Pikmin 2 is a real-time strategy video game developed by Nintendo for the Nintendo GameCube. It was released in Japan on April 29, 2004, in North America on August 30, 2004, in Europe on October 8, 2004, and in Australia on November 4, 2004. Pikmin 2 is the sequel to Pikmin, also for the Nintendo GameCube, and is considered an improvement over the previous title, receiving universal acclaim from reviewers. In 2009, both Pikmin games were re-released for the Wii as part of the New Play Control! series.

This does not affect gameplay directly, although in Pikmin 2 the credits only end the first half of the game. In order to finish the game you must watch the credits, which crash the game. Making the game playable, but not beatable.
