:::: No harm in trying some things out, outside of some time used. This is a hobby, so that's the point anyway. [http://caniuse.com/#feat=transforms2d CanIUse.com] seems to indicate support for the rotate transform is fairly good in "current" browsers. If the fallback when the rotation isn't supported is that some of the labels overlap, it's probably not the end of the world.
