It was developed by Beenox, developer of Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions and Spider-Man: Edge of Time, and published by Activision. It was released June 26, 2012 in North America and June 29, 2012 in Europe, on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Nintendo DS, Android, and iOS, and PC. The game was written and scripted by Seamus Kevin Fahey, of Battlestar Galactica fame, and serves as an epilogue to The Amazing Spider-Man film.
