GC Mic

It would be good if we could provide some description around the "Mic" option under the GC controller settings. I've never been clear on it's purpose, but have been presuming it's a mic on/off switch. Kolano (talk) 20:58, 17 October 2013 (CEST)

I'm not really sure this is the best place for that, but I'll ask what it does exactly in the IRC sometime. - MayImilae (talk) 22:07, 17 October 2013 (CEST)

The real GC mic have a button, and almost all games that uses GC mic ask you to hold the mic button and then speak. Since the GC Mic is emulated in Dolphin by using your PC mic, you can map this button to "enable" the mic when asked by the game. BTW, Odama doesn't need the mic button be pressed I think... mbc07 (talk)

Update this page (and its images)

I feel like this page and its images should be updated, since the last revision was on January 2018. More features were added that should be written here, like the DSU Client as well as the motion input menus. I took some screenshots of the current build (5.0-11816) to upload to the wiki, but I didn't want to do anything before asking. Is it a good idea? Techydude3 (talk) 14:28, 24 March 2020 (ET)

Go for it. Please use PNG images. Kolano (talk) 19:58, 24 March 2020 (CET)
Umm... Why are the images not updating? Either I'm impatient, or it re-rendered the old photo used. I can see the thumbnail, but it uses the old picture. Did I do something wrong? Techydude3 (talk) 15:24, 24 March 2020 (ET) (Edit: Never mind, my browser cache kept the old image)
