Yeah, there's a lot of rough edges since the last MediaWiki update. Was a bit unclear on what is meant by "failing to render", as it seems some navigation templates are cached and still render, errors only show up on a subset of pages. That will get worse over time though. Unfortunately I don't have access on the backend where there may be some logs providing more clarity.
