The Wii Fit Body Check Channel (Wii Fit からだチェックチャンネル) is a channel developed in collaboration with NEC, Panasonic and Hitachi capable of receiving personalized guidance from health professionals about how to stay healthy. The recommendations are based on data gathered from Wii Fit as well as from Personal Trainer: Walking for Nintendo DS.
The app requires a save file from the Japanese versions of either Wii Fit or Wii Fit Plus in order to reach the main interface.
Problems
Error 109144 ("Unable to connect to the Internet.")
Certain Wii apps that depend on Region Select, will instantly produce this error message when trying to connect to them online. While the cause of the error is debated, the error code is intended to mean "WC24 account not registered", potentially related to how all default-NAND Dolphin configurations have the Wii number (a.k.a. Friend Code) 0000 0000 0000 0000 by default. Fixing the error would potentially require changing the number, which likely requires a NAND dump; as of February 2024, third-party apps to change subregions did not work in Dolphin.
Configuration
No configuration changes are known to affect compatibility for this channel.
