Crash Nitro Kart is the ninth installment in the Crash Bandicoot series. It is an indirect sequel to Crash Team Racing and the first full motion video based game in the series. The game's story centers on the abduction of Crash Bandicoot, along with other characters in the series, by the ruthless dictator Emperor Velo XXVII. Threatening to destroy the Earth if they refuse, he forces them all to race in his gigantic coliseum for the entertainment of his subjects.
Problems
FMVs and Loading Screens
Dolphin doesn't render FMVs or loading screens. To fix this, set External Frame Buffer to "Real".
Speed Issues
In some revisions Dolphin doesn't accurately calculate the FPS on this game. To correct this set Frame Limit to 50 (for PAL) or 60 (for NTSC).
Graphics
In the menus some 2D graphics are corrupted or flicker. To fix this, set External Frame Buffer to "Real".
Configuration
This title does not need non-default settings to run properly.
Version Compatibility
The graph below charts the compatibility with Crash Nitro Kart since Dolphin's 2.0 release, listing revisions only where a compatibility change occurred.
