A handful of Wii software support reading and writing data to USB storage sticks and disks, but Dolphin does not support USB storage devices as of 18 March 2024, as it only supports non-storage USB devices.
This is not to be mistaken for WFS (Web Feature Service), which was used for Dragon Quest X: Mezameshi Itsutsu no Shuzoku Online, wherein physical Wiis had to use USB storage due to the Wii's very little internal storage capacity, while Dolphin can store it as a regular game due to much higher storage capacity.
Usage
{{Problems/Missing USB Storage Support}}
Example
Missing USB Storage Support
As of 5.0-21088, Dolphin does not forward any USB storage devices to Problems/Missing USB Storage Support/doc, neither physical passthrough devices, nor emulated devices.
