Emulated CPU Speed Issues
This game will lag even when running full speed on stages with tons of moving objects such as the Carnival. To work-around, set the Emulated CPU Clock Rate to 150%.

Test Entries | |||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Revision | OS | CPU | GPU | Result | Tester |
3.0-376 | Windows 7 | Intel Core i5-2537M @ 1.4GHz | NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M | Somewhat playable - map rendering issues, game runs at 50-75% speed. | Charizard9000 |
3.5-1394 | Windows 8 | Intel Core i7-3840QM @ 2.8GHz | AMD Radeon HD 7970M | Unplayable - freezes on main menu. | BAPACop |
3.5-1395 | Windows 8 | Intel Core i7-3840QM @ 2.8GHz | AMD Radeon HD 7970M | Unplayable - freezes on main menu. | BAPACop |
3.5-1625 | Windows 7 | Intel Core i7-2600K | AMD Radeon HD 7950 | Playable. A black shadow is infront of you at all times. FPS between 45 and 53. Portions of maps are at 90-92% speed. | 23732 |
^3.5 | Windows 7 | Intel Core i7-2600K | AMD Radeon HD 7950 | Playable. A black shadow is infront of you at all times. FPS between 40 and 47. | 23732 |
4.0 | Windows 7 | Intel Core i3-2100 | NVIDIA GeForce 210 | Playable. Game runs at 40-60%. Map rendering issues. | Flamer_Ion |
4.0.2 | Windows 7 | Intel Core i5-3570K | AMD Radeon HD 7850 | Playable. Game doesn't run at full speed, maybe around 70%. Dolphin 4.0.2 seems to have fixed the black shadow infront of the skater at all times previously reported. | Caboose700 |
4.0-3369 | Windows 7 | Intel Core i5-4670K @ 4GHz | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 | Playable. Black shadow is gone. Game runs at 100% for the most part but there are frequent stutters that make it a real headache to play. Did not play past first stage because of this. | Darxide |
4.0-7365 | Windows 7 | Intel Core i5-3570K @ 4.2GHz | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 | Playable. The game truly plays perfectly once the shadercache is caught up. Used the Emulated CPU Clock Rate to smooth out the game further and prevent in-game lags that are not present on console. | JMC47 |
