Trauma Team is a video game for the Wii console. The game is part of the Trauma Center series by Atlus. The game was released on May 18, 2010 in North America. Trauma Team includes a range of medical procedures including paramedic work, diagnostics and forensics, each performed by one of the game's six protagonists.

Problems

Incorrect Textures

"Disable Per-Pixel Depth" will cause some textures to show incorrectly (i.e. bone fractures) or not be shown at all (i.e. intubation). Make sure Disable Per-Pixel Depth is not checked.

Wiimote Gestures

Trauma Team utilizes almost all wiimote motion controls throughout the game. Because of the difficulty in mapping all these controls onto a traditional controller, a real wiimote is recommended for this game. For assistance setting up an emulated wiimote, see this forum thread

Crashing

Enabling the "Cache Display List" may cause crashes.

4:3 Black Bars

When the Wii Aspect Ratio is set to 4:3, this game's image will remain in 16:9 and show black bars on the top and bottom of the screen. Trauma Team is designed to behave in this manner; but if this bothers you, you can make the make Dolphin stretch the game to fill the entire 4:3 screen with the following steps.

  • In Config > "Wii" Tab - Set "Aspect Ratio" to "16:9"
  • In Graphics Config > "General" Tab - Set "Display - Aspect Ratio" to "Force 4:3" (or use hotkey "4").

This method will distort the image, so it is not recommended.
