Crash Nitro Kart, Crash Bandicoot Bakusou! Nitro Kart in Japan, is the ninth installment in the Crash Bandicoot series. It is an indirect sequel to Crash Team Racing and the first full motion video based game in the series. The game's story centers on the abduction of Crash Bandicoot, along with other characters in the series, by the ruthless dictator Emperor Velo XXVII. Threatening to destroy the Earth if they refuse, he forces them all to race in his gigantic coliseum for the entertainment of his subjects.
Emulation Information
Texture Artifacts
Buttons and some character icons are rendered with swapped pixel columns. This is bug in how the game converts palleted PNG assets to C4 textures. It is not a problem with Dolphin. Since 5.0-20789 Dolphin comes with an Action Replay code that can be enabled to fix this issue.
Problems
Missing Graphics
Videos and loading screens are completely black and in-game menus have flickering. To prevent this, set External Frame Buffer to "Real". Fixed with Hybrid XFB in 5.0-5874.
