Final Fantasy II (ファイナルファンタジーIV Fainaru Fantajī Fō) is a role-playing video game developed and published by Square (now Square Enix) in 1991 as a part of the Final Fantasy series. The game was originally released for the Super Famicom in Japan as Final Fantasy IV and has since then been rereleased for many other platforms with varying modifications. The game was re-titled Final Fantasy II during its initial release outside of Japan as the original Final Fantasy II and III had not been released outside of Japan.

Super NES Global Problems

[edit]

Problems that may occur with any Super NES title on Dolphin are listed below.

Glitched Sound

Sound is glitched in the OpenAL backend. Use XAudio2 to prevent this. Fixed in 5.0-798.

Problems

Stretched Output / Black Screen

Most graphics are stretched 100% horizontally to the right side of the screen, so only half the image is displayed. In newer revisions the stretching has been replaced by black output. Disable EFB Copies to Texture Only to fix this.

Configuration

Only configuration options for the best compatibility where they deviate from defaults are listed. A full list of options is available here.
