Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock continues to build on Guitar Hero's successful easy to play, but difficult to master gameplay mechanic to take the franchise to a whole new level. With master tracks from legendary bands like Sex Pistols, Guns ‘N’ Roses, Rolling Stones, Metallica, and Pearl Jam, along with original music composed specifically for the game by iconic guitarists Slash and Tom Morello, Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock sports the greatest soundtrack to ever find its way into a videogame. Vastly improved graphics immerse gamers into their rock arenas and heighten their visual experience while the new wireless Gibson guitar controllers allow the players to channel their inner guitar gods. The arcade-inspired battle mode, expanded co-op career and boss battles add depth and extend gameplay for countless hours of shred time.

---|---|---|---|---|---|
Revision | OS | CPU | GPU | Result | Tester |
3.0-716 | Windows 7 | Intel Core i7 @ 2.2 GHz | NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M | Full speed- In the menus. Once I start a song the sound get off, notes get up to one minute behind from the music. The songs load instantaneously but I can't play them in real time. EDIT: I switched to LLE and the sound and video matched perfectly- at about half speed and stuttery. So its playable but annoying to hear S-s-s-s-s-l-l-l-l-l-o-o-o-o-o-w-w-w-w r-r-r-r-i-i-i-d-d-d-e-e-e | Blake |

4.0-5960 | Windows 7 | AMD FX-8350 | AMD Radeon R9 280 | FPS stays at 60 when in practice mode, but normal play drops to around 42FPS with pitch decreases. | MatHay |
5.0 | Windows 10 | Intel Core i5 4670k @ 4.2 GHz | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti | Runs great with OpenGL 3xNavite Res with a xBox360 wired guitar. Just remember to keep the courser on-screen to avoid in-game lag. | chriztr |
