Missing Characters in Text
All versions of the game may have missing characters in various game text, per . Such can be resolved by setting accurate texture case towards a "safe" setting, though it's unclear what setting is necessary. Position 2 (middle) seems to work fine, though there may be one or two missing letters every once in a long while.
Syncing the calender causes the game to crash. Despite what the game indicates when first run, one can play the game normally without the calender; so when prompted to sync it at the beginning of the game, simply select "no" to proceed.
Scenes that play video appear black unless the External Frame Buffer is enabled and set to Real and Scaled EFB Copy is disabled. Setting the Internal Resolution to 1x reduces image shaking.
White Box in D3D
In the D3D backend the camera is somehow too far back, creating a large white box that covers the screen. If you use shift+W to zoom in to the camera's normal position past the white block, the game will be fully playable. Alternatively, just use OpenGL, as it does not suffer from this problem. See . Fixed by .
Only configuration options for the best compatibility where they deviate from defaults are listed.
|Position 1 (Safe)||Fixes the missing letters problem on the EU version of the game. Avoids on JP version.|

|^||Windows 7 x64||Intel Core i7-870 @ 2.93GHz||AMD Radeon HD 6870||[PAL] Perfect, I've beat the entire game at 100% speed. No text/texture/music bug or desync.||Sojiro seta|
|^||Windows 7 x64||AMD Phenom II X4 B60 @ 3.3GHz||AMD Radeon HD 6770||[PAL] Game is completely playable at full speed, however certain letters of a conversation will occasionally not appear. For example, "Ou" instead of "You". No texture or desync bugs though. Only works on Direct X 9, Direct X 11 displays a white screen past the license agreement. I fixed the text problem by enabling accurate text cache.||Krigo|
