New Play Control! Pikmin is the re-release of the cult classic Pikmin on the Wii as part of the New Play Control! series.
Problems
Crash
The game may crash randomly with the OpenGL backend. Use D3D9 or D3D11 to avoid this.
Sound
- Distorted sound effects are present when using DSP HLE. Use DSP LLE instead.
- This game has unusually high volume in comparison to other titles.
Configuration
Only configuration options for the best compatibility where they deviate from defaults are listed.
Graphics
Config | Setting | Notes |
---|---|---|
Scaled EFB Copy | On | Required to prevent ghosting |
Audio
Config | Setting | Notes |
---|---|---|
DSP Emulator Engine | LLE | Prevents distorted sound |
Version Compatibility
The graph below charts the compatibility with Pikmin since Dolphin's 2.0 release, listing revisions only where a compatibility change occurred.
