'''''Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly''''', known in Japan as ''Zero: Crimson Butterfly (零~紅い蝶~ Zero: Akai Chō'') and in Europe as ''Project Zero II: Crimson Butterfly'', is a survival horror video game developed by Tecmo. Originally released as a Playstation 2 exclusive, it is the second installment in the ''Fatal Frame'' series and is considered by some gaming magazines as one of the scariest video games ever created. Some time later, ''Fatal Frame II: Director's Cut'' was released for the Xbox exclusively in North America, with various improvements such as a first-person play mode, a survival mode, a new ending, enhanced graphics, and a greater number of alternate costumes to unlock. The Director's Cut was improved further and re-released on the Wii, in Japan as ''Zero: Deep Crimson Butterfly (零~眞紅の蝶 Zero: Shinku No Chou)'' and in Europe/Australia as ''Project Zero II: Wii Edition''.
In '''''Project Zero II: Wii Edition''''' experience the story of twin sisters Mio and Mayu Amakura, who find themselves trapped in the "Lost Village". With the Camera Obscura, a device that has the power to seal away ghosts and reveal past events, the pair must solve the mysteries of the ghost-ridden village to escape. As the story continues, more light is shed on the village's tragic past.

=== Ghost Photos Not Recognized ===
On the third mission of the Haunted House Mode, it seems like the photographs of the ghost are not recognized.
There is no solution at this time.

=== Black Pictures in the Album ===
=== Choppy Graphics in Black and White Scenes ===
Album photos will be captured black with EFB to Texture. Use EFB copies to RAM to correct them.
There are choppy environment graphics on the black-and-white scenes (where Mayu has to go to Sae) and the G Storage Room in the Kurosawa House on Chapter 9. This can be fixed by disabling Scaled EFB Copies for the duration of the B&W scenes.

=== Wii Remote Sound ===
=== Wii Remote Sound ===
With DSP HLE, The sound that comes from the Wiimote while playing is either distorted or muted. Dolphin currently has only limited compatibility for the Wiimote speaker; it requires [[DSP LLE]] and still has problems.
Sounds such as talking on the radio, the death cries of ghosts and some others are output only through the Wii Remote speaker.
If you are using Wii Remote emulation, then turn on "Enable Speaker Data" in the controllers settings to output sounds to the computer speakers.

=== Looping Sound ===
If you are using a real Wii Remote, then use [https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=Bluetooth_Passthrough Bluetooth Passthrough].
The sound may loop when lenses are equipped. To resolve it, either restart emulation, or try [[DSP LLE]].

=== Blinking Costumes ===
Sometimes, the costume blinks while running when the "Original" or the "Summer Uniform" costume is being used.

=== <s>Black Pictures in the Album</s> ===
Album photos will be captured black with '''EFB Copies to Texture Only'''. Disable '''EFB Copies to Texture Only''' to correct them. '''EFB Copies to Texture Only''' is disabled by default since at least {{revision|5.0-10000}}.

=== <s>Incorrect Image Displayed While Entering Viewfinder Mode or Any Menu</s> ===
This occurs if you open the graphics panel during emulation. Either don’t do that, or uncheck “Store EFB Copies to Texture Only." '''EFB Copies to Texture Only''' is disabled by default since at least {{revision|5.0-10000}}.
