Super Mario Sunshine is a platform game developed by Nintendo Entertainment Analysis and Development and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo GameCube. It was released in Japan on July 2002, in North America on August 2002, and in Europe and Australia on October 2002. It was the first 3D Mario platformer since the release of Super Mario 64 in 1996. Super Mario Sunshine's successor is Super Mario Galaxy, which was released for the Wii in 2007.

Problems

Gameplay: The goo/oil in the game behave oddly (see configuration)

Graphics: The water in the file select menu is rendered white. With certain graphic cards, the ground may bulge upwards (AMD Athlon 64 X2)

Controls

  • Main-stick range: Between 20 and 65 (of 128) in all directions for running (and probably for aiming too) so the best range setting in nJoy is around 60%.

Graphics

Copy EFB: Yes, to RAM.

EFB Scaled Copy: No.

Force Filtering: No.

If any of these options are set differently, the goo/oil in the game will behave oddly (impossible to spray away)
