Folder placement for IPL.bin
I don't personally think the folder info was wrong. I do however agree the path was likely entirely Windows-specific.
The part about the EUR/USA/JAP folders I currently see no problems with:

- The Documents folder isn't the default anymore on Windows, I suggest reading Controlling the Global User Directory if you haven't yet. At the very least, if we really want to have the IPL folder location info in the GameCube Main Menu page (unsure if that's the proper location for that), we should cover the default folder for the OSes we support (Android, Windows, Linux, macOS). - mbc07 (talk) 06:18, 11 March 2024 (CET)
- The easiest option would be to tell users to dump their IPL.bin and place it in
[User Folder]/GC/[your region]and make that a link to Controlling the Global User Directory. That's about as clean as anything with two non-specific items can possible be, but it will never be smooth.
