While emulated in D3D9, D3D11, Open GL, or system redenrer backends, this will appear all the time. As you can see, on the Mii character select screen, your Mii, and/or other created Mii characters will have a distorted/diffrent look than the original design. While playing the sport you preferred, you may see that the CPU Mii characters are garbled up. There is no possible solution correcting this, but the Dolphin Emulator Team will correct this issue in later versions of Dolphin. | |||

Wii Sports is a sports video game developed and produced by Nintendo as a launch title for the Wii video game console. The game is included as a pack-in game with the Wii console in all territories except Japan, making it the first game included with the launch of a Nintendo system since Mario's Tennis for the Virtual Boy in 1995.
Wii Sports is a collection of five sports simulations, designed to demonstrate the motion-sensing capabilities of the Wii Remote to new players. The five sports included are tennis, baseball, bowling, golf, and boxing. Players use the Wii Remote to mimic actions performed in real life sports, such as swinging a tennis racket. The rules for each game are simplified to make them more accessible to new players. The game also features training and fitness modes that monitor players' progress in the sports.
A sequel was released in 2009 entitled Wii Sports Resort, which takes advantage of the Wii MotionPlus.
Problems
Mii faces not showing corectly
While emulated in D3D9, D3D11, Open GL, or system redenrer backends, this will appear all the time. As you can see, on the Mii character select screen, your Mii, and/or other created Mii characters will have a distorted/diffrent look than the original design. While playing the sport you preferred, you may see that the CPU Mii characters are garbled up. There is no possible solution correcting this, but the Dolphin Emulator Team will correct this issue in later versions of Dolphin.

---|---|---|---|---|---|
Revision | OS | CPU | GPU | Result | Tester |
r3932 | Windows | Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 @ 3.6GHz | nVidia GeForce 8800GT | The game is very playable and looks good. It's also very stable and it is possible to use the Mii inside the WiiMote. Which I demonstrate in this video! Bugs: Mii's with 'broken' faces, no eyes, eyebrows, moustache, beard, mouth and noise. Also the pixelated Mii with boxing.Wii Sports on Dolphin Emulator | Laurensnl |
r6512 | Windows 7 x64 | AMD Phenom II X2 550 @ 3.1GHz | ATI Radeon HD 4850 | Fully playable: 60 FPS with DX11 plug-in, 2X AA and OpenCL Enabled | |
3.0 | Windows 7 x64 | AMD Phenom x4 840 | nVidia GeForce GTS 250 | 60 FPS excepts for tennis in two player mode (split screen) | leonnik@gmail.com |
3.0 | Windows XP x86 | Intel Pentium @ 2.7GHz | nVidia GeForce GT 9500 | Perfect (60 FPS) | tavog96 |
3.0 | Windows 7 x64 | Intel Core i7-2670 @ 2.2GHz | nVidia GeForce GT 635M | Perfect, No issues at all. Maybe the only disturbing thing is that Mii's eyes disappears some times, but this can be corrected putting the Native 2x Graphic option. | FatalRaincloud |
3.0-458 | Windows 7 x64 | AMD Athlon II X3 450 @ 3.2GHz | AMD Radeon HD 6670 | Perfect. From time to time, Wiimote got disconnected. Solved by Alt+F5. Can't test Boxing yet. | Faefdsedf |
3.0-735 | Windows 7 x64 | Intel Core i7-2630qm @ 2GHz | nVidia GeForce 540M | Perfect. Problems in sounds and face of the avatars. | alessandrobr |
