Problems
Calendar
Syncing the calendar causes the game to crash. Despite what the game indicates when first run, one can play the game normally without the calendar; so when prompted to sync it at the beginning of the game, simply select "no" to proceed.
Black Video
FMV cutscenes such as the intro on creating a new commander appear black unless the External Frame Buffer is enabled and set to Real. Fixed by 5.0-5874.

---|---|---|---|---|---|
Revision | OS | CPU | GPU | Result | Tester |
r7458 | Windows 7 | Intel Core i7-870 @ 2.93GHz | AMD Radeon HD 6870 | [PAL] Perfect, I've beat the entire game at 100% speed. No text/texture/music bug or desync. | Sojiro seta |
3.0-189 | Windows 7 | AMD Phenom II X4 B60 @ 3.3GHz | AMD Radeon HD 6770 | [PAL] Game is completely playable at full speed, however certain letters of a conversation will occasionally not appear. For example, "Ou" instead of "You". No texture or desync bugs though. Only works on Direct X 9, Direct X 11 displays a white screen past the license agreement. I fixed the text problem by enabling accurate text cache. | Krigo |
3.0-432 | Windows Server 2008 R2 | AMD Athlon II x2 @ 3.4GHz | AMD Radeon HD 6570 | Steady 30FPS, no problems with x2 native resolution. | |
3.0-692 | Windows 7 | Intel Core i7-2680QM @ 2GHz | NVIDIA GeForce GT 525M | [Broken] [Laptop+hybrid graphics] Interrupt <20>: SRR0 = 0x8001ccb8 TB = 0x00389caf630017fb. | dreadslicer |
3.5 | Windows 7 | Intel Core i7-870 @ 2.93GHz | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 TI | [NTSC] Flawless from what I've tested after copying my old save file from my memory card; I haven't tried playing through the whole game, but it should work fine. | Star-X |
3.5-1480 | Windows 7 | Intel Core i5-3470 @ 3.2GHz | NVIDIA GeForce 650 | Nothing loads at all. I've tried default settings as well as a few known extras. | .ducky |
4.0-5995 | Windows 8.1 | Intel Core i7-4790 @ 4GHz | AMD R9 270x | Nothing loads at all. I've tried default settings as well as a few known extras. | .ducky |
5.0-rc-23 | Windows 10 | Intel Core i5-3210M @ 2.5GHz | Intel HD Graphics 4000 | Works fine on default settings. A little lag on deck edit and when moving camera in game. Laptop | Aguywithaname |
